I went and played Floral Park twice this week after work. On Tuesday I played with Al Sampsell and his son Matt. Matt just started playing a couple of weeks ago and is doing very well so far. He used my VIP Westside King and did very well with it. I used my new Tournament Westside King and am very, very pleased with it. I shot my best round ever at Floral, a 62. 3 Bogies and the rest pars.
I went again today after work and played by myself. I had a very interesting round. I had 1 double bogie, 5 bogies, 10 pars and 2 birdies for a 64. I’m enjoying my Tournament Westside King more and more every time I use it. I’m getting many more birdie attempts when driving with that disc. I don’t think its all the disc though. I’ve been the recipient of a few key tips recently from 3 different experienced DGers for which I am very grateful. I’ve employed each of them and the results are awesome! Before these tips I had a habit of throwing the disc too high in the air and/or turning it over too quickly. I haven’t done that in 2 rounds now and my scores have improved noticably. Thank you!
